You told us about booking a ticket for a hovercraft trip to Kirkcaldy, but then never posted about it (unless I missed it). I therefore conclude that you have gone to Kirkcaldy for your fortnight's holiday. Interesting choice. A fortnight, you say? Hope you find plenty to do... There's a big Woolies. You could fill a whole morning there perhaps. That only leaves 13 and a half days.

Frankly, you've been gone too long. I've even had to write about surveys in your absence. Come out of Iota's Woolies now and get back to your blog, woman. And please ditch your word verfication system.

Vanessa, thanks! We needed a break, and it was fabulous.

Flowerpot, wouldn't be so sure. Heading over to yours shortly.

Mid-lifer, an award! Wow, thank you. Now I feel better about end of holidays.

Bushra, I vote the state subsidise hols for new mums. Glad to see you blogging. Trust all is well with you and little one?

Iota, you'll be sorry to hear we ventured further afield than Kirkcaldy. Obviously it was tough to resist the temptation to trawl the shops of Fife, but we stayed strong and went to France.

Elsie B, missed you and Bettie. We had some episodes on hols that made me think of your blog and how good you'd be at describing them.

Omega Mum, surveys? My goodness, what on earth can be going on? Has Bad Lindy had a hand in this? Am heading over to yours now to find out more.

Ps - about word verification, have you clicked the 'remember me' button when you leave a comment? The captcha is meant only for newbies to the site, to prevent spam.

Dulwichmum, you would have been in your element at Geneva Airport. White jeans and big sunglasses aplenty! One crucial difference between Brit and European posh mums - the must-have accessory (beside the obvious two children) for continental supermums is a little dog in a handbag. Something you might consider?!!!

Erica, thanks! Nice to be back and read such lovely comments.
